It's last about 5 years since a running become a subculture in Moscow. Of course, a running espessially marathon running always was popular but in a little groups. Nowadays the running is a new black. It's even more popular then an amateur football and hockey amid not professionals. I have never been running any marathon in account of shortness of breath and an ache of the right side of the body. But i am always inspired of marathon runners and triathletes.
Becouse of i love reading i found a few books about running and they were really amazing. I would like to share with you my impression.
1. Gordon Piri "Running Fast and Injury Free". He set 5 wold's records, he was fantastic champion and inspirational storyteller. This book consists of big love to running, a lot of grate advices how to run quikly and longer, how to run a marathone, even it has an example of training programm.
5 out of 5 stars!
2. Nicholas S. Romanov "Pose Method of Running Technique". The author was training Olympic coach. Probably this book is less exiting that Gordon's book but it all aout running technique. You will find there discription of many different bodily exercises. And these book is very usefull and not contradicting with Gordon's technique.
5 out of 5 stars!
3. Haruki Murakami "What I Talk About When I Talk About Running". Haruki wasn't a sportsmen and didn't run any races till 33 years old. But he became marathon runner and triathlon enthusiast, and even run ultramarathon! It's not any exercises and training's plans. It's all about feelings and pain.
4 out of 5 stars!
