Nowadays photography is a widespread activity, and every person have at least one photo album at home. Nevertheless, others prefer to store pictures on computer.
From my point of view, I believe that storing photos on computer is more beneficial than keeping them in albums. To begin with, storing pictures on personal computer saves natural resources that are used to print photos such as paper and ink. Secondly, computers keep our photos safe from discoloring and allow us to maintain vivid colors in a long period of time. In addition, modern technologies and programs help us to improve the photos’ quality and add some nice effects.
On the contrary, album lovers argue that collecting photos in albums is more pleasant and enjoyable than watching them on a screen. Moreover, they say that we can lose all our photos in case of computer crash.
Nevertheless, I cannot agree with these opinions completely as I believe that collecting photos in albums take up much space and photos deteriorate with time in albums. Furthermore, I think that many people keep their files not only on computer but also on memory cards so we will never lose our photos.
In conclusion, I want to stress that although it is common to see photos in albums we should take in account opportunities that we are offered by modern technologies.
