Task: Write a comment on the following question: Is creativity the same important as knowledge in education?
Creativity. How does it influence our life? Is it important or of less consequence? This is a very often discussed topic at the moment. In the following I will take a close look at the question if creativity is the same important as knowledge in education.
Of course, knowing a lot is helpful and favourable to us. But intelligence isn't creating. A person with a big knowledge but without creativity isn't able to solve problems. This deficit is communicable to a lot of fields. What if you can't solve the communications problem at your work or the fight with your friend? No one becomes happy and succesful without any creativity.
Furthermore creativity is a precondition for creating something new. We won't get far in life, on the job and last but not least in the science, which is based on the previous knowledge.
In addition the world gets interesting with creativity. What is life without free time? The majority of the people associates their free time with entertainment. Television, theatre, music. No one wants to live without music especially. But all these aspects need creativity to be created.
In the end I am convinced that creativity is the same important if not more important than knowledge in education. We are not able to have good conversations without it and we can't solve problems. Creativity is essential for us and we need it.
